ZeptoGuard collects the following information when you register for a trial or purchase a license:
- Account Information: Name, email address, company, and country.
- License Information: License keys, activation codes, and machine identifiers used for license validation.
- Usage Data: Activation timestamps, IP addresses at time of activation, and API request logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate, manage, and validate license keys.
- To prevent license abuse, piracy, and unauthorized distribution.
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- To send critical security updates or license expiration notices.
- To improve our products and services.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- ZeptoGuard does not scan, store, or transmit your files.
- ZeptoGuard does not collect browsing history, personal documents, or system contents.
- No telemetry or behavioral tracking is embedded in the Software.
4. Data Storage
Your license and account data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are never stored in plaintext. Database access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
5. Data Sharing
ZeptoGuard does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. Cookies
The license portal uses session cookies for admin authentication. No tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies are used.
7. Data Retention
- Trial license data is retained for 90 days after expiration, then automatically purged.
- Paid license data is retained for the duration of the license plus 1 year.
- API request logs are retained for 30 days.
8. Your Rights
- You may request a copy of your personal data.
- You may request correction of inaccurate data.
- You may request deletion of your data, subject to license verification requirements.

9. Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted database connections, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Policy.
